Redwood Coast Land Conservancy

Founded in 1992, Redwood Coast Land Conservancy is dedicated to preserving, restoring, and sharing the natural wonders of coastal southern Mendocino and northern Sonoma Counties. In addition to their beauty, these landscapes contain some of the rarest and most varied habitats on earth. As part of the California Floristic Province, scientists have named it one of the planet’s top-25 conservation “hot spots.”

Redwood Coast Land Conservancy is guided by a volunteer board of directors, a small but growing professional staff, many energetic volunteers, and a generous community of supporters. RCLC works in partnership with state and national funders, including the California Coastal Conservancy and California Department of Fish and Wildlife; state and regional public agencies, California State Parks and Sonoma County Regional Parks; and a coalition of land trusts and other conservation organizations, including the Land Trust Alliance, California Coalition of Land Trusts, and Together Bay Area.
